BIOGRAPHY

Dorothy Mour’s artistry was birthed in Berlin in the late 2010's. Inspired by the city’s vibrant club life, Mour combined influences from jazz, neo soul and psychedelic rock with electronic elements. With her unique voice, moody sound, and spellbinding stage presence, she quickly made her mark in Berlin's underground music scene.

Her previous releases include In Your Dreams in 2018, Ferocious Complexion in 2019, and Wicked in 2021. The latter two were accompanied by music videos, showcasing a visual exploration of the dramatic and otherworldly elements already present in her music.

After moving back to her hometown Stockholm, she met her live band. Their connection and strong stage presence has taken them to big stages such as Stockholm's International Film Festival, Stockholm's City Theatre and LARK Berlin. She released Speed; a jazzy, tongue in cheek ballad that was released on June 16th, 2023. Filled with both melancholy and wry wit, it portrays a relationship riddled with drugs and emotional detachment.

In May 2024 her first Swedish record, Västerbron, was put out. The melancholic pop ballad about sudden loss, with Stockholm serving as a contrasting beautiful backdrop, was met with critical acclaim. On November 20th, Mour continued her language experimentation by releasing the half German half Swedish song Fühlt So Schön – a slightly twisted bossanova track with lofi-pop production, about being stuck in Dante's limbo. It embraces life's fickle nature, weather it'll be heaven or hell, on top of distorted trumpets, drifting vocals and warm guitars.

In September 2025, she’s set to release her debut album The Moon in Berlin.
